The company is the largest multi metal stockholder and distributor across the UK and Ireland. The products are wide-ranging and they process and produce steel and metal items of high quality from their Service Centre Networks and Distribution Centres.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for developing close relationships with Key Accounts and ensure that they receive first-class service across the services and departments involved. You will also respond to all sales queries and tenders promptly and follow-up as required. This will require you to have good negotiation skills and the confidence to speak with senior management.. You will work closely with a Business Development Manager within a specific territory of established clients.
You will also liaise with internal Manager of the different functions involved e.g. Transport, Quality, Production, and Credit Control.
Your background will be within the steel or multi-metal sales industry and the company will build on your knowledge through class-room training to make good any gaps on your knowledge of any of the product range.
